What is MegaFest?

MegaFest is the world’s largest multi-day family festival. It is the go-to vacation destination for the entire family featuring INSPIRATION, EMPOWERMENT, ENTERTAINMENT, and good old-fashioned FAMILY FUN! MegaFest brings all the popular T.D. Jakes events together, including Woman Thou Art Loosed, ManPower, MegaKidz powered by Destiny World, and MegaYouth powered by Firecode for teens – in one place, at one time with something for EVERYONE.

Where will the MegaFest 2017 be held?

The MegaFest 2017 will be held in Dallas, Texas at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center with other locations to be announced. You can get the most up-to-date information by visiting the MegaFest website.

Who can attend the MegaFest 2017?

Men, Women, Youth (ages 13-18) and Kids (ages 5-12); anyone who wants to be a part of this one-of-a-kind festival.

What can attendees expect to walk away with?

Attendees can expect a positive, family-friendly experience that includes stimulating workshops, high-energy performances by award-winning music artists, and cutting-edge special events for all ages. The festival offers educational, entertaining, and empowering activities for men, women, teens, and children.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the idea of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship with sessions that focus on resources, planning, and the fundamentals of beginning a business.

Parents should be excited to know their children will have the same great, inspirational, and entertaining offerings as before, but also included will be an area geared towards learning, creativity, reading, and STEM. Along with this, there will be sessions and resources available for parents looking to learn about how they can prepare their child, no matter their background or socio-economic status, for greatness in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

For parents and students interested in college, there will be a couple of college zones where all the pertinent info on college, scholarships, grants, and more will be found.

What will happen during MegaFest?

Over the course of the four-day festival, there will be a variety of offerings for the whole family. The four main anchors of MegaFest 2017 are Woman Thou Art Loosed (geared towards women), ManPower (geared towards men), Destiny World (geared towards kids ages 5-12), and FireCode (geared towards teens, ages 13-18).

For those who want to work on their craft of dance, there is the ALIVE Dance Conference. At ALIVE,
attendees are given the opportunity to learn dance techniques, and some may even perform on one of the main stages during MegaFest!

There is no shortage of entertainment at MegaFest 2017, with the International Faith and Family
Film Festival
in its 3rd year and boasting celebrities, film screenings, and workshops on filmmaking. Also in the entertainment package, get ready to laugh with the A Time to Laugh Comedy
Show, which will be held later in the evening this year to give every attendee the chance to find their seat. Not forgetting the family as a whole, MegaFest presents Family Movie Nights, being held under the stars at the Reunion Park, just outside of the Hyatt Reunion Tower hotel.

There are also a host of Empowering moments to be held on the Empowerment Stage in the Expo, Entrepreneurial / Business Tracks, Health Zone, and more! !

What is the dress code for MegaFest?

Attire for MegaFest is casual.

What security measures will be in place for everyone in attendance at MegaFest?

Safety at MegaFest 2017 is a priority! For your protection, security will perform bag checks and take other security measures in all venues in an on-going effort to ensure your safety.

Does the registration fee include any meals?

No. There will be food available at concession stands throughout the venues for purchase.

How will the attendees know which location to go to?

Once you’ve registered, a schedule will be sent to you. There are many things to do at MegaFest and you can choose which sessions you’d like to attend. The schedule is subject to change, so be sure that you pay close attention to the schedules that will be posted daily throughout the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center during MegaFest.

What if I have an emergency and need to request a refund?

The registration fee for MegaFest is non-refundable and non-transferable.

What happens when I lose or forget my adult badge or youth credential?

To replace your badge, there will be a non-refundable fee. There will also be a non-refundable fee to replace the youth and/or child(ren) credential.

Can I register additional people when I get to MegaFest?

Yes, registration is available on-site. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register NOW!

Can I change a name or give someone else my badge?

NO. NAME CHANGES ARE NOT PERMITTED FOR YOUR BADGE.

Can I drive to Dallas for the Festival?

Yes, and parking is available at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center (based on availability and subject to fees).

Are there airline packages available?

Yes, there are airline packages available through MegaFest and TDJ Ministries. Currently, we offer two airline package options valid through the following travel dates: June 25 through July 5, 2017. For Delta Airlines please use Meeting ID NMPWE 800-328-1111 and enter Z530211 in the offer Code Box Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 am – 7:30 pm CST. For United Airlines please use Meeting ID NMPWE 800-426-1122 and enter ZY6V for the Agreement code. While we currently do not offer any airline package options for American Airlines, we encourage you to check back soon as we update our offerings.

Registration FAQ’s

When should I register?

You should register to attend MegaFest as soon as you have made a definite decision to attend. Those participants who are able to make a commitment to attend at an early date will receive the best registration rates and have the best chance of securing their preferred hotel accommodations. Registration fees are non-refundable.

What's the easiest way to register for the festival?

The easiest and quickest way is to register online and pay by credit card. You may also register by calling 1.800.BISHOP2 (1.800.247.4672)

When will I get confirmation of my registration?

Confirmation of your registration will be viewed immediately as you are navigating the website. An email confirmation will also be mailed to you.

What do I do if I need to cancel my registration?

All purchases are FINAL. Payments are non-refundable for any reason including, but not limited to, illness, acts of God, travel-related problems, loss of employment and duplicate purchase. This policy is clearly stated on all of our materials, both printed and on the web. Unused registrations/applications have no monetary value and cannot be credited to future years, events, or merchandise.

 Group Registration FAQ’s

Are there group rates available?

Yes, there are two group rate options available. We encourage groups of 10 or more to take advantage of our MegaFest group rate which is 20 percent off admission. Additionally, families of four to nine members are encouraged to take advantage of our Family Pack group rate which is 10 percent off admission.

What is the minimum number of individuals for a group?

The minimum number of group registrants is four attendees.  *Groups of four to nine members receive a 10 percent discount. Groups of 10 or more receive a 20 percent discount.

*Please note, you must start your group with a minimum of four people in order to receive the 10 percent discount, or 10 people to receive the 20 percent discount.

What information do I need to register a group?

A group can be registered in four easy steps:

  1. To register a group, you must first select a group leader who will be responsible for collecting the information listed below.
  1. Create a list and collect the following information for each participant in the conference prior to registration.
    • Full Name
    • Full Address
    • *Unique Email Address
    • Contact Number
    • Date of Birth
    • Event(s) Attending

*The email address is used to uniquely identify each person in your group and allows them to receive information on their individual MegaFest experience.  They will have the ability to log in, make or change their event selections, and print their own itinerary, as well as receive the latest MegaFest announcements.

  1. Provide a credit card payment for the registrations.
  2. Check your inbox for your group email confirmation.
What if I don’t have an email address for each group member?

Please call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-BISHOP 2 for assistance.

What if I need to add someone to the group?

As the group leader, you can add additional people to your group.  Go to the MegaFest website. Click ‘Already Registered.’  Enter your name and your confirmation number (not the Group Confirmation Number) to access your registration.
