Imagine how many STEM jobs there will be in 2040, 2060? The demographics show that people of color are even less ready for these opportunities. The alarming trends show we have to repair and rebuild the pipeline. The opportunity lies in the vast amount of new jobs, new careers planned in the future, and in the programs available today that help us prepare for tomorrow. Join PepsiCo and leaders in the STEM field to explore the case for change; existing opportunities and programs to engage at the local and national levels; how to craft an educational experience that integrates STEM; and investing in the STEM talent pipeline

Glass ceilings, lack of sponsorship and mentoring, availability of key assignment opportunities or the inevitable conflicts of balancing work and family often combine to make "driving in the career fast lane" quite difficult. These challenges are especially true for women of color. However, the rate of change within business (and especially within technology) requires "fast lane drivers" of varied backgrounds. Some women do it successfully, not only surviving but thriving. Join PepsiCo for a "speed dating" session with STEM experts. Learn from experienced STEM professionals about their journeys and tips for success.

In that same year, Feeding America reported that 42.2 million Americans lived in food insecure households, including 29.1 million adults and 13.1 million children. And although related, food insecurity and poverty are not one and the same. However, one of the many common denominators of the incidence of food insecure households is poverty. In fact, higher rates of unemployment and low-income households also contribute to the lack of access to adequate, nutritious food. This session will explore this disparity while providing insights into how to access adequate and nutritious food, and begin the journey to go beyond hunger and chart a path to living a healthier life.

The Making of a Man of Destiny: A TRANSFORMED NONCONFORMIST | Dr. Ronaldo Archer
Location: Ballroom C1

Man’s rejected is often God’s selected. Every man that God calls to greatness must matriculate through three stages of Gods University: The Set Time, the Mean Time, and the Appointed Time. The Set Time is when God calls you to do something great for His glory. The Mean Time is when God shows you your destiny, then grabs you and pulls you into the completely opposite direction of the very thing He has called you to do. The Appointed Time is when God has transformed a man’s mind, heart, hands, habits, humanity, and habitat. It is when pain has become power, wounds have become wisdom, tragedy has become triumph, and failure has become fortune. We will discuss these stages, and more, in this session that is sure to drastically change your perspective on how God transforms your life.

This session will help you learn why egocentricity and fragmentation is the root of all addictions, and why family or friends that have addictions push love and help away when it is offered. Understanding the difference in stopping the addiction and staying stopped from their addiction is of the utmost importance. Here, you'll be given the necessary tools to build trust in others as your coping mechanism, instead of relying on your addiction to numb your pain. It's the aim of this session to educate the co-addict so they can learn the difference between loving the addict to health and enabling the addict to stay in their addiction.
